Confidential Sexual Violence Support Is Available

If you or someone you care about has experienced sexual violence, you are not alone. Our Nonprofit branch, The Peace of Mind Foundation, provides confidential, trauma-focused support for survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and exploitation. Many survivors feel overwhelmed, confused, angry, or unsure of what to do next. Others may not even know how to put their experience into words yet. Whatever you are feeling right now is valid, and support is available whenever you are ready.

Our trained advocates and counselors understand the emotional and physical impact that sexual violence can have on a person’s life. We offer a safe and compassionate space where survivors can speak openly, ask questions, and explore their options without pressure or judgment. Every conversation is confidential, and our role is to listen, support, and help you access the resources and care that feel right for you.

Support Services for Survivors in Union County

The Peace of Mind Foundation offers a range of support services for survivors throughout Union County and surrounding communities. Our services include crisis counseling, survivor advocacy and accompaniment, and trauma-focused therapy designed to help individuals process their experiences and begin to reconnect with a sense of safety and stability. We recognize that healing looks different for every person, and we strive to meet survivors wherever they are in their journey.

In addition to emotional support, our advocates can help survivors navigate systems that may feel overwhelming after an experience of sexual violence. This may include connecting individuals with medical care, legal resources, or other community supports. Our goal is to ensure that survivors have access to compassionate guidance and practical support so they can make informed decisions about their next steps.

You Do Not Have To Go Through This Alone

Reaching out for help after sexual violence can feel incredibly difficult. Many survivors worry about being believed, fear judgment, or feel unsure about whether their experience “counts.” At the Peace of Mind Foundation, we believe survivors. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, and no one should have to navigate the impact of sexual violence alone.

When survivors connect with our team, they remain in control of their choices and the pace of their healing. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to share, and you can take each step when it feels right for you. Our role is to walk alongside survivors, providing support, information, and care so that each person knows they are heard, supported, and not alone.
