With Peace of Mind Yoga as your in-person host, you’ll receive instruction grounded in trauma-informed care and guided by an anti-racist, anti-oppression, and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. This program offers a compassionate, inclusive, and nervous system-sensitive framework that actively challenges systems of harm, affirms diverse identities and lived experiences, promotes equity, and honors each participant’s full humanity. You’ll be encouraged to reflect on your role as a teacher and space-holder, cultivating accessible, welcoming environments for all bodies, backgrounds, and identities.

What You’ll Learn

Yoga Techniques and Practice

Explore asana, pranayama, chair yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, and guided relaxation.

Anatomy, Alignment, and Safety

Learn how to protect the body while deepening practice, especially important for those recovering from injury or trauma.

Yoga Philosophy and Ethics

Understand yoga’s roots and how to integrate them with authenticity and integrity. You’ll be invited to respectfully engage with its cultural history, acknowledging its South Asian origins while avoiding appropriation and centering diverse voices in the field.

Teaching Methodology and Sequencing

Build clear, empowering, and adaptable class structures, including practices suitable for all bodies, identities, and lived experiences.

Trauma-Informed Instruction

Learn principles and practices that support emotional safety, body autonomy, and nervous system regulation in every class.

Refund Policy

We understand life happens. Here’s our refund policy:

  • 90+ Days Before the Start Date: 100% refund

  • 60–89 Days Before Start Date: 50% refund

  • 59 Days or Less Before Start Date: No refund

  • Processing time: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
