200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

In Partnership with the American Yoga Academy

Spring 2026 Cohort

Become a trauma-informed, certification-ready yoga instructor with this comprehensive 200-hour training (planned start: April 2026). Combining anatomy, philosophy, embodied practices, and somatic awareness, this program prepares graduates to skillfully lead safe, inclusive, and healing-centered yoga classes. CE credits and Yoga Alliance eligibility included.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: APRIL 1ST

Join Peace of Mind’s 200-Hour Hybrid Yoga Teacher Training, offered in partnership with The American Yoga Academy, for a transformative training grounded in trauma-informed practice and live mentorship.

Led by Kris Silvestry (MA, NCC, LPC, ACS, CCTP, RYT), Maria Wachtel (RYT-200), and Nicolette Kelly (RYT-500), this program combines self-paced online learning with live mentorship, peer connection, and in-person training. Students will participate in opening and closing weekends, where interactive practice, embodied learning, and trauma-informed instruction are integrated, giving students the skills and confidence to teach safely and inclusively.

The online curriculum, developed by world-renowned yoga educator, Claire Diab, provides a comprehensive foundation in yoga teaching methodology, philosophy, meditation, breathwork, and anatomy, while Peace of Mind offers ongoing guidance and trauma-informed integration.

Students progress through 15 structured online modules at their own pace, supported by monthly online check-ins with Peace of Mind instructors, Maria and Nicolette. These sessions review and integrate 3 modules at a time, helping ensure understanding, accountability, and integration. The training also includes access to Peace of Mind classes, practice-teaching opportunities, and 22 hours of in person instruction, creating a supportive and connected learning experience from beginning to end.

This inclusive program prepares graduates to teach yoga safely and confidently to students of all ages, bodies, abilities, and experience levels. No prior yoga training is required.
