Last one

And when's easiest for you?

What working with us looks like

Here's how it usually goes.

Almost done

Where should Maria, Mackenzie or Melanie reach you?

They're our front desk. Real people, in the building, and they'll call within a business day. If you'd rather reach out first: call (908) 363-5535 or text (908) 417-5502.

We need a name and a phone number so front desk can reach you.

We won't add you to anything. This just goes to front desk.

You're all set

Two ways to go from here.

No pressure either way. Reaching out is usually the hardest part, and you've done that bit.

Things people usually want to know

Do you take insurance?

We're a private-pay practice, so we're not in-network with insurance. Many plans offer out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for part of the cost. You can check your estimated reimbursement on our website through Mentaya, and if you work with us, we can submit your claims for you. You'll know the full session cost before scheduling, so there are no surprises.

What if my counselor isn't a fit?

Say so. It happens, it's not personal, and we'll match you with someone else. No awkward conversation required.

Where are you?

395 Springfield Ave in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

I've never done yoga. Will I look silly?

No. Everyone is looking at their own feet. The teacher will tell you exactly what to do.

Can I do both counseling and yoga?

Yes, and a lot of people do. Same building, same front desk.

A note from Kris

I started Peace of Mind because I wanted one place where people could work on their heads and their bodies without it feeling clinical or intimidating. Fifteen years later that's still the whole idea. If you got this far, you're closer than you think. — Kris
